School Uniform
School Uniform
Our school uniform colours are green and grey with the school logo. Most items can be purchased in local high street stores and those with the school logo are available from school at very competitive prices from our online webshop www.pmgschoolwear.co.uk or from Tesco online at http://myclothing.com/ New starters will be given an order form by the School Office so they can order uniform ahead of their start date.
Uniform can also be bought from most major stores at competitive prices. We also offer ‘pre-loved’ uniform to families for a small donation, or free for our most vulnerable pupils. We would welcome donations of pre-loved uniform.

Other items do not form part of the uniform as standard. There are some items that are acceptable to be worn and the following guidance should be followed:
Only plain, stud earrings should be worn and taken off in PE for health and safety reasons. If they cannot be removed then they will be covered with tape for PE.
Watches must be analogue or digital, no smart watches or Fitbits.
Hairstyles should be appropriate for school, i.e. no “Mohicans”, no designs cut into hair, no extremely short hair (no-guard or number 1) or brightly coloured highlights. All long hair (shoulder length or longer) should be tied back.
Hair accessories should be small, plain dark green or black hair bands or scrunchies.
Nail varnish should not be worn in school.
Headscarves/Hijabs may be worn for religious reasons but must be in school colours – bottle green, black, or white.
Other items may be acceptable in exceptional circumstances (for example items relating to Special Educational Needs). Parents are expected to make a request if their child requires an exception to the uniform policy. The Headteacher will make the decision on whether exceptional circumstances apply, taking in to account individual circumstances and the aims and objectives of this policy
