Happy Easter to the PPS Family!!
Children (and parents/ carers!) thank you for working so hard at home over the last couple of weeks. I have enjoyed seeing your rainbows, pictures, poems and hearing about your 'Golden Moments' and 'Acts of Kindness'. Thank you to our great staff team for working so hard in so many ways supporting/providing such a wide range of learning activities for the pupils and keeping the communication flowing.
During the Easter break (4th-19th April) staff will not be providing specific home learning activities. We are signposting you to lots of different websites/ holiday activities on the 'Useful Resources' part of the 'Working at Home' page. New home learning information from staff will be put up again after the Easter break.
Parents and carers I just want to reinforce a message I sent out last week about you all being wonderful during these unprecedented times. Please accept that you are all doing enough and actually exceptionally well as you are loving your children and supporting them through a difficult time. Look after yourselves over the Easter period and try to minimize stress for yourselves and others as much as possible. This is absolutely vital in a time like this for everyone's mental health and well- being. Mrs Wilson has in the 'Well-being' section of 'Useful Resources' put lots of activities the family can do together to support well-being. I am certainly looking forward to sitting in the sunshine and maybe even having a BBQ with my husband!
If anyone is suffering any kind of trauma and needs our support please do not hesitate to contact us (in term time or holiday time - we will be checking emails during the holidays.)
Stay safe and keep well.
